Successor to Germania GmbH (founded in 1811)

Since its re-establishment in 1998, Harald Liebers Behälter-Apparatebau GmbH has specialised in the planning, design and manufacture of quality-tested products in apparatus and pressure vessel construction. Today, Liebers Behälterbau is one of the leading suppliers in this segment and has made an excellent name for itself as a partner to numerous companies far beyond the borders of Germany.

  Founding of the Johann Samuel Schwalbe company
• 1873
  Conversion into Maschinenfabrik Germania AG
• 1890
  Establishment of the Altchemnitz branch as a boiler forge
• 1945
  Expansion from vessel production to main factory for apparatus and pessure vessels; in the following years, main supplier of chemical plants such as columns, vessels, apparatus and heat exchangers with up to 1,700 employees
• 1998
  Continuation of the company by Harald Liebers Behälter-Apparatebau GmbH
