4. Collection and processing of personal data

a) General use of the website

When you visit our website, the web server automatically collects the following data:

  • public IP address,
  • date and time of access,
  •  page/file accessed,
  • amount of data transferred,
  • browser type and version,
  • operating system used.

This data is stored for a period of 7 days and is used exclusively to ensure technical security, for error analysis and to protect against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

b) Contact form / email contact

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form or by email, we will process the data you provide (name, email address, message) in order to process your enquiry. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract initiation).

5. Cookies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies to ensure the functionality of the site (e.g. session ID).

In addition, a Matomo opt-out cookie may be set if you object to web analysis. 

You can prevent the storage of cookies at any time in your browser settings. In this case, not all functions of the website may be available.

6. Web analysis with Matomo

We use the Matomo service for reach analysis. The version is configured so that no cookies are set for analysis purposes. The following data is collected:

  • Your (anonymised) IP address,
  • pages visited,
  • date and time,
  • language settings.

The data is processed exclusively on our server and is not passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in optimising our online offering). You can object to the collection of data at any time using the opt-out provided.

7. Integrated Google services

a) YouTube & ytimg

Our website contains embedded videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a video is played, data such as your IP address, the page you are visiting and, if applicable, other device-related data is transmitted to YouTube.

In addition, resources are loaded via the domain ytimg.com to provide the video content.

b) Google Maps (link)

In the footer of our website, we link to Google Maps to show our location. When you access the map content on Google's external site, Google processes your data.
